LUMEN
LUMEN is a contemporary art space built around a single curatorial principle — that the work should determine the conditions of its presentation, not the other way around. The identity project created a visual system disciplined enough to disappear when needed.
Gallery identities often compete with the work they represent. Lumen needed the opposite — a presence strong enough to be coherent, controlled enough to step back.

Designing for institutional neutrality without producing something anonymous. The system had to carry weight in print and spatial contexts while remaining genuinely subordinate to the work on the walls.

An identity with no secondary graphic elements. Light and shadow as the primary spatial communication tools. Print materials designed as objects in their own right — paper weight, binding, silence.

An identity that behaves like good gallery lighting. Present, functional, and completely unobtrusive.
